Cashew Yogurt Deviled Eggs

These deviled eggs ditch the mayo and bring in creamy cashew yogurt, a touch of natural sweetness, and just enough zing. They're simple, nourishing, and make for the perfect snack or shareable comfort food—everyone will remember you from that potluck.

Whether you’re prepping them for a brunch board, snack stash, or a dinner party, these little bites offer grounding protein and gut-loving fats in a totally real-food way.

Why You’ll Love Them:

No Mayo, No Mystery – Creamy cashew yogurt gives a probiotic-rich, dairy-free twist without sacrificing texture.

Sweet Meets Savory – A whisper of honey or maple syrup balances out the mustard for a nuanced flavor pop.

Protein-Rich + Blood Sugar Steady – Perfect for post-workout, late luteal phase, or honestly anytime.

Batch-Friendly + Meal Prep Ready – These keep well in the fridge and somehow taste even better the next day if they last long.

Ingredients (Makes 6 Deviled Eggs / 12 Halves)

  • 6 farm fresh eggs

  • 2–3 tbsp unsweetened plain cashew yogurt I love Forager!

  • 1 tsp yellow mustard

  • Dash of sea salt

  • 1/2 tsp honey or maple syrup (this is the magic)

  • Optional: pinch of smoked paprika or tijan for garnish

  • Optional: fresh herbs (chives, dill, parsley) for flair

How To Make It:

1. Boil the Eggs
Place eggs in a pot, cover with water, and bring to a gentle boil. Once boiling, cover, turn off heat, and let sit for 10–12 minutes. Rinse under cold water and peel.

2. Make the Filling
Slice eggs in half and pop the yolks into a small bowl. Add cashew yogurt, mustard, salt, and honey/maple syrup. Mash with a fork or small whisk until smooth and creamy.

3. Fill the Eggs
Spoon or pipe the filling back into the egg whites. If piping, a ziplock bag with the tip snipped works like a charm.

4. Garnish (Optional)
Dust with paprika or cracked pepper, and sprinkle with chopped herbs if you’re feeling fancy.

Why These Work Anytime:

Cashew Yogurt = Creamy Texture + Probiotics
Eggs = Clean Protein + Brain Fuel
Honey or Maple = Blood Sugar Support + Flavor Balance
Mustard = Gentle Digestion + Tang
Salt = Mineral Boost + Crave-Worthy Finish
